Philadelphia, PA (March 27, 2012) – The Cline Group (www.theclinegroup.com) today announced that Scott Piro joined the company as Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Communications. Piro is responsible for leading the agency’s international PR division and expanding its presence in Israel, Europe and the United States. The Cline Group is one of the only communications agencies with offices in both Israel and The United States serving clients worldwide.
Piro heads PR and social media campaigns targeting the North American and European markets for Israeli, American and European clients, focusing on consumer and business-to-business technology. He manages staff based in the U.S. and Israel and reports directly to The Cline Group’s CEO Josh Cline.
Piro joins The Cline Group after two years of operating an independent communications practice in Tel Aviv, generating North American publicity for a mix of high-tech startups and nonprofits. In his practice, Piro also authored clients’ core website messages and managed their social media channels with daily, relevant content to increase influencer status. Prior to being self-employed, Piro directed media relations campaigns during a fifteen-year period in New York City for agencies including boutique powerhouse PKPR and the largest independent book publicity firm in the U.S., Media Connect (formerly Planned TV Arts), a division of Ruder Finn. He made his start in public relations as a media trainer and audio/visual coordinator for corporate PR firm, Robert Marston & Associates, Inc.

Piro holds a bachelor’s degree in film & television production from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
