Public Relations Account Manager: Bala Cynwyd, PA

The Cline Group is a full-service, integrated-marketing and communications firm with offices in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and Israel. We are hiring an experienced Account Manager to join our fast growing team headquartered in our Bala Cynwyd office.

As an international strategic-marketing and communications firm, we are a team of seasoned veterans from all disciplines of marketing. As part of the public-relations team, you will be expected to understand how to use the different digital and social-media channels in order to build and maintain conversations with targeted audiences. In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing public-relations strategies along with managing an international team. We serve a broad range of industry verticals in both the private and public sectors. While some of our clients are PR-only, others require integrated-marketing campaigns that will need you to collaborate closely with other team members in our U.S. office and in Israel. You will report to the VP of Global Communications.

This position requires:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding writing, very strong media relations and analyst relations experience
  • Social-media skills as well as the ability to learn new disciplines within marketing
  • 7 to 10 years of PR and communications experience in an agency or corporate setting
  • Exceptional project-management skills are a must
  • Experience or an academic background in marketing or business is a plus
  • The candidate has to have high-tech, clean-tech, or life-science experience

As an international strategic-marketing and communications firm, we are a team of seasoned veterans from all disciplines of marketing. As part of the public-relations team, you will be expected to understand how to use the different digital and social-media channels in order to build and maintain conversations with targeted audiences. In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for keeping multiple client initiatives moving forward including playing a key role in social-media efforts. We serve a broad range of industry verticals in both the private and public sectors. While some of our clients are PR-only, others require integrated-marketing campaigns that will need you to collaborate closely with other staff members in our U.S. office and in Israel. You will be the daily contact for the accounts you are on and will report to the Account Manager or Account Director.

Public Relations and Digital Media Internship

The Cline Group is a full-service, integrated marketing and communications agency with offices in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and Israel. Throughout this internship, you will experience real-world aspects of a public-relations agency, including writing press releases, creating media lists, public-relations campaign production and implementation, promotional activities, on-site project involvement, event marketing and planning. You will have the opportunity to work alongside specialists responsible for a variety of different accounts, including local, regional, national, and international ones for large and small national and international corporations, small local firms, and non-profit organizations. This internship position can lead to a permanent entry-level position. Interns must be available to work 3-5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft press releases and media alerts on a variety of clients and topics
  • Conduct research of appropriate media contacts to create media lists
  • Brainstorm, design, and implement a full-scale, public-relations campaign
  • Design, develop, and activate client promotional activities
  • Determine necessary event logistics and carry out client needs

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate focused in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Energetic, outgoing, and flexible
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
