Lehigh ex-professor finds new career with an old pupil
Philadelphia Business Journal
Josh Cline and his former Lehigh University public relations professor Carole Gorney often joked about him opening his own PR firm one day, but never in Gorney’s wildest dreams did she think that 12 years later, she’d be working for her former student.
Cline founded The Cline Group, a strategic marketing and public relations firm in Bala Cynwyd, in 2007, the same year Gorney retired from Lehigh and began doing public relations work part-time.
Cline and Gorney kept in touch after he graduated in 1999, and recently he invited her to be his senior vice president.
“Carole has an extensive background in public relations,” Cline said. “Having someone like Carole join the firm makes us even more credible.”
